Judy Ferraro has had a passion for enhancing the skills of those in sales and leadership for over 30 years. Ten of those years, Judy owned and operated a scrap metal business. After 18 years in recycling, she decided to abandon the glitz and glamour of scrap metal and form a consulting firm.
For over ten years, Judy has written an award winning column for Scrap Magazine called On Sales, and has been a regular presenter at conferences and events. 2016 marks the release of her second book titled, On Sales & Other Helpful Business Stuff.
Years spent studying in Chicago’s comedy circle at Second City, IO and Player’s Workshop became the inspiration for creating popular training programs featuring improv elements in her curriculum. Her comedy background and excellent interactive skills are central to building seminars. The training is both informative and fun. She emphasizes the importance of listening, high-level questioning and, of course, the ability to laugh at oneself.
Judy regularly provides employee development, speaks at conferences and facilitates panel discussions for a variety of companies in the retail, insurance, manufacturing, recycling, transportation, telecommunications, healthcare and sports industry.
Judy attended DePaul University’s College of Commerce in Chicago. She is married to Michael Gruber and they have one son who sports under a 3 handicap in golf.
